Jewelry Care

As a general advice I will suggest you to remove your jewelry when you practice high impact sports or when you are doing gardening or house work to prevent any damage.

All of our pieces made with solid Gold and Sterling Silver are made to be use daily and in all situations .. and yes! You can swim with it!!

SOLID GOLD

All of our solid gold pieces are made from 14K or 18K gold, this is the hardiest of all the golds which means they can be worn on a daily basis! you can shower and sleep in your solid gold pieces.

STERLING SILVER

Please handle your Sterling Silver jewelry with care by storing it neatly in your Lulu Fiedler pouch or box and keeping away from perfume, hair styling products or body lotions. This will increase the longevity and avoid tarnishing over time. Wipe your jewellery clean with a cloth when you take off for a rest, to ensure any oils are removed that could possibly tarnish your piece.I strongly recommend you to remove any polished Sterling Silver jewelry if you will use a Hot Tub to prevent them from tarnishing.

OXIDIZED SILVER

Our oxidized silver jewelry is intended to look darkened, matte and black, so please DO NOT POLISH IT. Any solution will remove the oxidization patina. It's best to keep it away from soap and any cleaning agents. We recommend a clean cloth and lukewarm water to clean oxidized silver jewelry. The dark colour of oxidized sterling silver is the result of a special surface treatment that with time and wear will lighten and in places may disappear altogether, giving each piece its unique character. If however you would like your piece of jewellery restored to its former glory please contact us lulu@lulufiedler.com Please do not store your oxidized Sterling Silver jewelry with your Shiny Sterling Silver jewelry, as the oxidization may tarnish it.. I Wouldn't want that to happen! To avoid that please use your Lulu Fiedler pouch or box to keep them separate.

PEARLS

The Pearls I use in my work are Fresh Water Pearls,Salt Water Pearls,Akoya Pearls, Tahitian Pearls or South Sea Pearls which are completely natural, meaning these can be fragile and scratch so please handle with care and storage your pieces in your Lulu Fiedler pouch or box to keep them separate from your other Jewelry pieces and avoid any scratches.

DELICATE STONES

All stones require care to maintain longevity, as most can be heat sensitive and it is strongly advised to keep them away from strong substances.
